Founded in November 2020, SolidVue is South Korea's leading LiDAR (lidar) sensor chip Fabless company. It was co-founded by a professor from the Department of Semiconductor System Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University. It is also the only company in South Korea that focuses on LiDAR sensor IC design. The company develops solid-state LiDAR sensor technology based on CMOS technology, with its core covering ToF, SPAD and other technologies. It is committed to realizing the commercial application of miniaturized, low-power consumption and high-performance LiDAR chips to serve fields such as autonomous driving and robots. Its high-resolution single-chip LiDAR sensor IC "SL-2.2" won the CES 2025 Smart City Innovation Award, and has cooperated with overseas LiDAR system, marine navigation and autonomous driving companies.

SPAD-based dToF solid-state lidar sensor
